The European Union has set up the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform - STEP, to strengthen its strategic autonomy in the green and digital age and regain its leading position in the field of disruptive technologies.
Slovenia sees STEP as a strategic tool for the innovative breakthrough of its economy.
The Slovenian Enterprise Fund (SEF), in cooperation with the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, is therefore preparing a range of incentives encouraging Slovenian start-ups, innovators and industries to develop strategic technologies and using them as a basis for building new disruptive industries.
Under the guidance of the SEF, we have organised a special project unit called STEP Slovenia, to:
